Top rate sushi spot in FiDi that delivers on freshness and service. Quality all around and ample selections to fulfill palate and cravings. Certainly worth visiting if you want solid reliable sushi.

End to end an excellent Sunday evening meal. Desserts, especially the yuzu key lime pie, were fantastic. I would return just for dessert. Prices were reasonable, no pushiness toward upsells, the vibe is exactly what I liked about the first Blue Ribbon restaurant that I patronized. Hope to visit another one soon.

Didn't realize there was a Blue Ribbon Sushi in lower Manhattan, but as soon as we found out there was, we booked a table with friends. We love Blue Ribbon and the one in the Financial District didn't disappoint. As we've experienced in the LES, Columbus Circle and Vegas locations, the sushi was fresh and delicious. Also enjoyed some warm saki and beer. Atmosphere was cozy and warm and the service is friendly and fast. We'll be back!

One of our neighborhood go-to's for a casual date night. The service is extremely good and once I had a bone in one piece of my sushi and they comped the entire sashimi platter. The quality of fish is usually quite good. It's pretty easy to get a table; you can probably walk in.

Overall I'm impressed by the restaurant. The sushi came out pretty quickly and tasted great, though I don't think it was anything unique. Service was probably the weakest thing at the restaurant; there wasn't any enthusiasm from the waitstaff and they actually seemed quite impatient at times. The ambiance is probably the best thing this restaurant has going for it though, it's moody and intimate and was a great place to catch up with friends.

Was a little hesitant to try this place out because a friend told me that Blue Ribbon's sushi was a bit "boring", but I was like sometimes you need boring. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the food! The restaurant gave New York vibes and I swear it would be a perfect scene in a movie. They welcome each guest who comes in and are very attentive. We ordered the wings, spicy tuna and tempura flakes roll, the dragon, and the kyuri special. All of the rolls were fantastic! So fresh, light, but filling! The wings were good, but I believe had way too much seasoning, but at the same time lacked flavor without the sauces that were provided. Regardless an amazing meal and I will definitely be back.

Blue Ribbon was aesthetically sleek and cool. The food was very good, the sashimi melted in my mouth. The salmon teriyaki was delicious. Wasn't a fan of the chicken teriyaki but the broccolini on the side was really good. The service was good, very attentive to our allergies and requests. Would come back! There were a few bigger groups at tables so it seems like a great group spot.

Amazing food! Expensive but delicious! Staff was very amazing. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the staff and chefs! Staff was very attentive and came mutliple times to check if everything was good. Order the following: - Crispy rice (Spicy Tuna, Avocado, & Eel sauce) $25 - Been wanting to try this and it did not disappoint! Personally, I've always loved spicy tuna so I loved this dish. Careful though because it does come out really hot! - Edamame (Spicy) $10 - Can't go wrong with edamame, had a great spicy kick - Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken Wings (4 for $18/8 for $34) - Wings were ok, I've had better. - Oxtail Fried Rice (Daikon, Shiitake & Bone Marrow Omelet) $36 - Wow, this was amazing and great umami flavor. - Sushi-Sashimi Combination $36 - For someone who does not eat raw fish often, this was very fresh and fish melts in your mouth.

The staff was super nice, our friend was 30 mins late on a weekday and they let us wait at the table and have a drink with no rush. The crispy rice app was the best! Def a must get, the texture of the crunch and fish on top is really amazing. The sushi is good quality and good texture here. The dumplings were good and the fried chicken also slapped. It was delish, like actually the fried chicken might be a must too... dare I say at a sushi restaurant. My friend doesn't like raw fish and there were enough options for her here which was really great.
